Getting veterans and neighbors where they need to go
I am a service-disabled U.S. veteran. I am building Freedom Fleet Mobility to provide affordable, dependable transportation for veterans and residents across the San Antonio area — with rides to VA care as the founding priority.

Affordable by design
Fares planned below typical rideshare prices, so cost is not the reason someone skips an appointment.
For-profit, on purpose
A real business that sustains itself — because a service that depends on charity can disappear.
Nobody should miss a doctor's appointment because they couldn't get a ride.
How the service would work
A fleet of 20 or more Tesla Cybercabs — Tesla's purpose-built autonomous taxi — operating across San Antonio, dispatched by software and supported by a small human operations team.
Ride by app or phone
Book in a smartphone app or call a staffed number — designed for riders who may not want to use a smartphone.
VA care as the anchor
The Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital is the primary service destination, alongside groceries, pharmacies, workplaces, and everyday stops.
Charged overnight
Vehicles charge at a depot overnight and serve riders during the day, with selective midday top-ups when demand justifies them.
Sponsored rides
Nonprofits, employers, and agencies can buy rides for the people they serve — at arm's length, with the company remaining independently owned and operated.
About the vehicles: the Tesla Cybercab is Tesla's planned autonomous taxi. Tesla opened a fleet interest form on September 3, 2026, but no binding commercial pricing or terms have been published yet. The fleet launches only when the vehicle, the pricing, and the terms are real.
Where things stand today
I would rather tell you plainly what is done and what is not than dress up a work in progress.
What is done
- The company name, mission, and service model are settled.
- This website is live.
- Texas formation papers and an operating agreement are drafted.
- A Texas veteran verification letter has been requested ahead of filing.
- Outreach is underway with a VA contracting office, veteran-serving nonprofits, a VA facility contact, and a free legal clinic.
What is not done
- The LLC has not been filed.
- No vehicles have been ordered — the Cybercab is not for sale yet.
- No funding has been secured and no debt has been taken on.
- No investor money has been accepted.
- No depot site has been selected.
My commitment: I will not take on debt or sign contracts until the major unknowns — vehicle availability and pricing, insurance, financing terms, and real demand — are resolved. This company will be built on verified facts, not hope.
How it gets funded, and what comes next
The funding path favors grants and service contracts over debt — and every step waits on the unknowns being cleared first.
Veteran transportation grants
Federal and Texas programs exist specifically to fund veteran transportation services. Applications follow only when the company is formally established.
Service contracts
Nonprofits, agencies, and employers buying rides for the people they serve — steady, contracted demand rather than hoping for street hails.
Small-business lending
SBA-backed lending is a possible later step for vehicles and infrastructure — only with terms the business can actually support.
What I will not do
No investor equity that dilutes veteran ownership. No debt before demand is proven. No promises about timelines I cannot control.
Veteran verification letter
Confirms eligibility for Texas veteran business benefits before filing.
Legal review and LLC filing
Formation papers reviewed by a legal clinic, then filed with the state.
Partnership conversations
